Start Your Career in Tree Care…

Do you love being active outdoors? Are you ridiculously strong and fit—or would you like to be? Do you love the smell of 2-stroke and the sound of chainsaws? Are you naturally inclined to climb trees and mountains? How about working with big machines? If any of the above interests you, you’re a prime candidate to join the Old Growth tree removal team. If you’re new to this kind of work, we’ll train you with the skills and knowledge you need to start a career. And most importantly, you’ll be a part of an extraordinary team of individuals who will have your back as you work together to accomplish tasks that others might find daunting or impossible.

Our work ranges from clearing brush for fire mitigation, to large scale removals of massive trees using cranes and helicopters; from the valley floor to remote estates nestled high up in majestic aspen groves. We also do a lot of technical pruning to improve the health of trees, or to make the most of a view; and when mother nature’s wrath brings a tree down on someone’s home, we are ready and able to take care of the most technical hazard removals.

Your season will start in April, depending of course on the weather; and we will keep you busy through December or until the snow flies, intersecting perfectly with winter work at the ski areas. And if you prove yourself worthy and you’re interested in staying on through the winter, our growing company is adding new, year-round positions each season.

Pay depends on experience and we offer ample opportunity to increase your wage and grow professionally through in-house and outside training that we will pay for and pay you to complete!
